Prep. Time: 15 minutes, Cooking time: none, Makes about 350g
Walnuts, shelled 50g
Cheddar cheese 150g
Sour cream or crème fraiche* 150ml
Garlic clove 1 (or more according to
taste)Prep. Time: 15 minutes
Salt and pepper
1) Finely chop the walnuts and grate the cheese.
2) Place the sour cream in a bowl and stir in the crushed garlic clove(s).
3) Add the grated cheese and the nuts, season to taste with salt and pepper and mix together thoroughly.
* Sour cream with a single cream consistency will give you a smoother dip, while crème fraiche will give it a firmer, chunkier consistency: take your pick!
Serve with bread, crackers, crisps and crudités … it is VERY more-ish!
